I didn’t expect that Rooney Mara is nominated for the Best Actress category, as the 2011 film will be shown here in the Philippines on February 1, next week. That’s on Wednesday.

While there are only two nominees in the Best Original Song category.

As for the Best Animated Feature:

There’s a a rule regarding the Motion Capture technique employed in films such as Disney’s A Christmas Carol from Robert Zemeckis and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn from Steven Spielberg, and how they might not be eligible in this category in the future. This rule was possibly made to prevent live action films that heavily relied on motion capture, such as James Cameron’s Avatar, from getting in.

I’m not a (TV buff/coach potato)-type of person, but Touch (TV series) is one of new TV series this year, na kung saan, naiintriga ako sa concept. And from Wikipedia that:

After the cancellation of Heroes, Kring created the TV series Touch, a drama centering on a father (Kiefer Sutherland) who discovers his autistic and mute son can predict events. The series premiere is scheduled for March 19, 2012 on Fox.

I learned this guy, when I was looking for Chico Garcia and Delamar’s Top Ten, via Yahoo! and Chico Garcia’s WordPress blog with the help of Ricky Lo’s online article.

To be honest, his performance gave me goose bumps.

The first the time heard the song is from 99.5 RT. I liked it the first time I heard this song. The song I heard is the one with Natasha Bedingfield.
